Anger, Greed and Desire

Humans were and are being created to behave the way they do because it looked right to the evolutionary forces in them. Most people I meet have the tendency to automatically dismiss all forms of anger, greed and desire as wrong.

I always believed that useless anger, greed, and desire are the source of all human evil. This qualities force us to value what we want more than ourselves. This is a sin. This is all sin is.

But anger, greed and desire are natural human responses without which man can not be man, but something else--half man disabled of some of the most basic elements of human behaviour. Let your anger live with you, but use it only when it is important; use it only against your weaknesses, not against anything living or not or you ; so that you will have enough energy to kill your weaknesses.

Use your desire for your benefit, desire to love God, which is the image of your perfection, through loving which you will have true love towards yourself.

Be greedy when it comes to the moments in your life, live as much as you can at every second. Be greedy to know as much as there is to know, so that you will always know and understand.

The whole point is that none of the emotions you have---whether it be lust or disgust, love or hate, forgiveness or hatred---are at all not good or bad by themselves. It is all about when, how, why, with whom or with what and what for you use them. Teach yourself to discern not between bad and good looking vocabulary, but about right or wrong courses of action.

When human emotions are dominated by ignorance they always result in any degree of some externalized or internalized form of decay and destruction. The emotions being basically one it is what you fill them with, enlightenment or ignorance, that determines the success of your wholeness. If one felt lust towards one's spouse, for example, do you think it would be lust? Not at all, it would only be holly union. So let us try and bring a structure, however hard it sems to realize, that agrees with our
inborn enlightenment and righteousness and live all our moments in prosperity, peace of being, and realization.
