We came here to grow towards becoming. All other things are secondary to this. In life we die and live all the time, and sometimes, not in time; in ways most of us don't understand, we live and die. Our reality so happens to help us see it as it is. It wants to teach us that neither this nor that is real, that there is a greater death than this, and a greater life than this. It wants to teach us that sometimes we can live in smaller ways than we know or die softer deaths than the death we fear. Then we will die easily and live easily. We will see that all this is neither bad nor good, only unreal. We shall then grow towards that which in unity is both good and evil, that which is real.
That can happen because of an intention; a real, well understood intention. The search, with our crude states, for the fine, will never get us the finer states we search. But in the long years one might spend searching one sees that none is that which is desired, and if it is not any of all of that, then it either is the totality of all or the none of all.
But, because the point is about becoming aware, only, one needs not search or find. A disciple of being only needs to understand, not to judge whether one thing or another is like this or that. Just understand, without deciding what it is, without defining anything. Keep on being more and more aware. Then one day your awareness will be too much to keep you heavy like the grosser ones. You are weightless then, and you can then fly. You will soar in enlightenment so high, that it will be much easier to go higher flying to the heavens than go back to where you started the journey.
